Application

• Applicable in plastic, rubber, adhesive, paint, ink, ointment, magnetic material, waterproof material, fire retardant etc.
• Compatible with thermoplastic and thermosetting resin as well as elastomer such as PE, PP, PS, PC, AS, ABS, PVC, SBS, polyester, polyether, polyurethane, polyamide, polycarbonate etc.
• Coat and modify inorganic filler such as CaCO3, MgCO3, BaSO4, CaSO4, MgO, Al(OH)3, talc powder, mica powder, pyrophyllite powder, sepiolite powder, wollastonite in powder, iron red, chrome yellow, antimonous oxide, titanium dioxide, zinc borate, ammonium polyphosphate, crypton, figuline, bentonite, charcoal black etc.

Property

• Stable quality, light color, high lubricity, insipidity, innoxious, no need of dilution, convenient in use.
• Depending on specific surface area/surface-to-volume ratio of inorganic filler, the finer the filler, the more the adding ratio. Adding ratio could be calculated accordingly.
• Adding ratio: approximate 1% only.

Benefits

• Largely increase the adding ratio of inorganic filler, thereby apparently decrease the adding ratio of the needed carrier (such as synthetic resin), therefore reduce cost, but maintain quality good enough.
• End products are polishing and shining if filled with inorganic filler well-coated by aluminate coupling agent. Meanwhile inorganic powder does not appear on the surface of end products.
• Obviously improve product tensile strength, impact strength, elongation at break and reduce systemic viscosity.
• Definitely better than steric acid.

Usage

• Remove moisture content from inorganic filler (powder in form) by drying at 100 -110 ¡æ for 2-5 minutes depending on how much moisture contained in inorganic filler (powder in form), moisture content of inorganic filler (powder in form) to be ¡Ü0.3%.
• Use aluminate coupling agent to coat, activate and modify inorganic filler (powder in form) for 3-5 minutes before adding steric acid, because steric acid contains carboxy and hydroxy. In other words, if using aluminate coupling agent together with steric acid, firstly use aluminate coupling agent, secondly use steric acid. This kind of sequence can not be reversed.
• Because of wax-like soild, crush it into small pieces by disintegrator or pulverizer before use.
